- Journal Entry- The Romantic Era is often viewed as
a revolt against the Age of Reason (Enlightenment). Romantics
focus on the emotional rather than the rational. It is believed
emotion is a large part of who human beings are. This is going
to be expressed in music,
art, and literature. Gioacchino Rossini does musical work that
integrates comedy into his music. Other artists are expressing
emotions from sadness to joy. Please select any of the other
musicians listed on this music
site. Listen to their music and read about their work. Then simply
write a small paragraph and send me a sample of their music.
ie send the URL or web site address with
your paragraph. (Worth 20 pts).
