Journal Entry-Please consider for a moment individual civil liberties as it peratins to a post 9-11 world (War on Terror). many social scientist have suggested that we are now living in a preemptive society. If this is so, what does that mean? How much freedom are you willing to relinquish in order to preserve public safety? What is the potential for those in power to remove (abuse) our freedoms and civil liberties in the name of the War on terror? Please use the internet to look up the term preemptive and do a little research for historical precedent on civil liberties in times of war i.e. WW2 and the Patriot Act. Write what all of this could mean for Americans in the future (Worth 50 pts).
