Integration of African Americans i.e. Bill Russell (Boston Celtics), The domination of the Minneapolis Lakers and the transition of dominance of Red Auerbach's Boston Celtics. You should attempt to relate racial integration and the emergence/ foreshadowing of the Civil Rights Movement as meaningful themes in the NBA.
