Renaissance Reformation, Enlightenment
Martin Luther and John Calvin -I’m providing you with two of the preeminent reformers of the Protestant Reformation. Build a Venn Diagram that illustrates how they are similar and different from a variety of perspectives. Culture, religious theology, etc.. are just a few of the areas students might investigate.

Renaissance and Baroque Architecture- This site is hosted by the University of Virginia. Its focus is on Renaissance and Baroque Architecture in Italy during the 15th, 16th, and 17th centuries. This is a fantastic electronic field trip for World History Students.

The Classical Music Archives is a great way to expose students to Music of the Enlightenment Period. All the greats i.e. Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Vivaldi, etc.. are there for you and your classes listening pleasure. There are a variety of Mp3 music options for free download.

The Prince by Niccolo Machiavelli- This site is a great way to expose your students to the genius of the great political phillosopher. The site includes a text version link of the Prince from Project Gutenberg. It also includes outlines, chapter summaries, and quotes from the man himself.
